Why Learnico Was Created
Learnico was born from a simple belief: teachers should focus on teaching, not on administrative tasks. We created this platform to support independent teachers and students with practical tools for managing courses, lessons, and communication - designed by educators, for educators.
Our Story
The inspiration for Learnico came from real-world teaching experience. One of our co-founders, Marta, is an independent teacher who understands firsthand the challenges that educators face every day. Her journey as a teacher revealed the need for better tools that actually serve the educational community.
Meet Our Co-Founders
Marta Mikolajczak
CEO & Co-Founder
Independent teacher with 8 years of experience in education, specializing as a voice teacher and neurologopedist. Marta has worked with students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them develop not only musical skills but also confidence and communication abilities.
As a neurologopedist, she combines scientific knowledge with practical teaching methods to support students with diverse learning needs. Her personal mission is to make education more accessible and organized for independent teachers.
Having experienced first-hand the challenges of scheduling, managing students, and handling payments, she co-founded Learnico to give teachers better tools so they can focus on teaching instead of administration.
Vision: Marta believes in empowering teachers and students by reducing friction in the learning process, making learning more engaging, and supporting teachers' independence.
Piotr Koson
CTO & Co-Founder
A seasoned software engineer and technology leader with extensive experience in building scalable, user-centric platforms. Piotr oversees the technical vision of Learnico, ensuring stability, performance, and thoughtful architecture that grows with the product.
Specializes in full-stack development, technical infrastructure, and clean code practices. Commits to empowering educators by delivering a smooth and reliable technical experience—so teachers can focus on teaching, not tech.
Passionate about using technology to enable education, Piotr designs Learnico's system to be both robust and developer-friendly.
Vision: Driven by a belief that thoughtful engineering can remove barriers and simplify daily workflows for educators. He aims to make Learnico not just functional, but delightful to use and easy to evolve.
